As for your question about LSH—good catch!

While RRF and LSH both are geared towards elevating relevant results, they operate under different mechanics.

LSH is generally about approximate nearest neighbor search, where similarity is the main driver.

With RRF, we're looking more at an optimized fusion of multiple rank lists to get that ultimate lineup of top hits.

RRF for this reason I believe will provide better and more balanced reranked results over all - but happy to compare notes on this if you plan to do some research yourself.
